A nine-year-old girl who was hit by a bus in south-east London last weekend has died.
The girl and her five-year-old brother were struck by a bus on Watling Street, near the junction with Halcot Avenue, in Bexleyheath, shortly after 9am on Saturday while with a family member.
The girl was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but died on Monday afternoon.
The driver of the bus has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving and drug-driving and has since been bailed pending further inquiries.
The boy was also taken to hospital, as a precaution.
Their family has been informed of the girl's death and is being supported by specialist officers.
Detectives investigating the incident are urging witnesses to come forward.
