Emergency services are searching a stretch of the River Thames, after an 11-year-old girl fell into the river in Woolwich on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were alerted at around 1.15pm and the girl's next of kin have been told and are being supported whilst the search continues.
London Fire Brigade confirmed that multiple agencies are working together to find the girl, including The LFB, The London Ambulance Service (LAS), the Met Police, the RNLI and HM Coastguards.
The LFB are carrying out systematic searches in the area while the LAS have sent ambulance crews and hazardous area response teams to the scene.

A large police presence remains at the scene as and a helicopter assists the search from above, combing the river between Woolwich and the Greenwich Peninsula.
