Join us for an amazing night of music from Manouche Re-imagined, a London-based singer-led contemporary acoustic swing jazz ensemble. A band for broad jazz tastes, its repertoire combines instrumental manouche style jazz with powerful vocals rooted in swing, standards from the Great American Songbook, blues, Latin and bebop.
Doors 6.30pm, Music from 8.00pm
Formed in London through the famous SWOP sessions at Mycenae House in London SE3, where they still perform regularly, the band features vocalist Hope Augustus, renowned for her soulful and charismatic vocal delivery. She is joined by Leigh Henson on cornet, Simon Goodwin and Brian Miller on guitars, and Andy Richardson on double bass. Together, Manouche Re-imagined creates an exciting vibe that re-imagines vintage classic jazz, but with a contemporary edge.
