Learn how to create your own handmade Christmas cards using the cyanotype process, a fun and accessible technique, with local artist Sally Gunnett .

During this two hour session you will be introduced to the cyanotype process, a Victorian photographic technique originally used to document plants.

After an introduction to the process, you will be guided step by step and shown how to create your own cyanotype Christmas cards and gift tags.

You will leave the session with at least four cards with envelopes and two gift tags.

Please note this session will take place on the first floor of the building. Shrewsbury House has no lift access to the upper floors, only stairs.

This session is suitable for beginners no previous knowledge is required.

All materials and equipment are provided. Leaves and flowers will be provided but you are also free to bring your own items to create your image with.
