Greenwich Peninsula parkrun is a free, volunteer-led community event, open to walkers, joggers and runners of all abilities. The scenic route takes participants past The O2 and the IFS Cloud Cable Car, and the inaugural event is expected to attract a strong turnout of local runners, volunteers and supporters.
Council Leader Councillor Anthony Okereke, Councillor Sandra Bauer, Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture and Communities, and the Mayor of Greenwich, Councillor Linda Bird, will attend to cheer on participants alongside organisers and the local community.
